HELEN BEGLEY

The fabulous Helen Begley teaching women and girls to realise their potential on guitar.

GUITAR MAKERS

Don't buy a mass-produced guitar from a shop - even a top name one. Go to an independent luthier. You'll get a unique instrument tailor-made to your needs that's just as good if not better for a comparable price. keep the art of making hand-crafted guitars alive!

JACK SPIRA

I play Jacks' instruments almost exclusively - he's also the man who taught me how to make guitars and helped a lot with the Totally Gourdgeous Instruments. Great guitars, Mandolins and Bouzoukis, beautiful hand-made rosettes and purfling.

SA BLUES SOCIETY

Good articles and reviews.

Back to Me is a one-woman musical journey from Australian folk legend Penelope Swales, built from songs by three collaborating writers, Swales, Jules de Cinque and Victoria Vigenser.

In the small car that becomes Tilly's home, there’s no room for the guitar she’s always played. Instead, she wields a ukulele — a poignant reminder of how much her world has shrunk.

Back to Me is about holding on to your voice when life is unyielding. It is a 60-minute story of survival, via transitional housing, taking one woman from homelessness to hope.
